You’ve heard of the concept but don’t really get what it is. Or maybe you’ve practiced Mindfulness here and there, but want a refresher. You’ve come to the right place!
Many people misunderstand what mindfulness is and how to “get into the zone”. Some mistake mindfulness for effortful thinking and stress.
Stress results not from events themselves, but from our views or thoughts about the events.
Many people also confuse mindfulness with meditation. Meditation is a tool to achieve mindfulness, but it requires a practice that some people find difficult. Mindfulness doesn’t depend on meditation: it is the very simple process of slowing down and noticing new things. This simple act allows us to be present and makes us more sensitive to context and perspective. Mindfulness is really the truest essence of engagement.

We’ll explore core values, tackle & eliminate our tolerations, learn communication techniques to enhance our relationships, look at our “whole self” perspective, and move our bodies. Let’s say hello to our power and our self-compassion. You’ll take with you several techniques and processes that will stop stress and anxiety in their unstable tracks. These are skills you’ll have for the rest of your life!
Jerry is NYC Certified as a Professional Coach. She also practices Coaching for the Unconscious Mind, and is certified through Center for Integrative Hypnosis (don’t worry she won’t put you in a trance unless you ask!). She owns Yoga East Wellness Center in Provincetown, MA. and quite enjoys throwing fun group coaching workshops.
